The challenge I encountered is lack of availability at post-workout gatherings. It isn’t offered in many coffee shops or lunch places but barristas will often offer to make it. On the few occasions when we happen by a grocery store or convenience store, a swig of chocolate milk is not only tasty, but reminiscent of Indy 500 winners with a slight color change to the drink. One key to post-workout recovery is rehydration. I can attest that a nice cool chocolate milk tastes great and is very pleasant post-workout.

It would be tough to discipline yourself to take the time to do this with the time pressures but really valuable and probably doesnt’ take that much time to be effective – a couple of words to the kid would be all it would take.
